BURLINGTON, Vt. -
There's been a lot of talk about the federal health care reform act this summer and Vermont's push for single-payer health care. And the state took a big step in that direction Thursday, presenting a plan to health regulators for the kind of health care coverage we will all be getting in Vermont once the state switches to the health care exchange in 2014.
The exchange is where people will be buying their health coverage and it is a requirement of the federal health care reform law.
Mark Larson is the Commissioner of Health Care Access in Vermont. He appeared on the Channel 3 News at 6 p.m. to talk about the plan.
