IRASBURG, Vt. (AP) - Police say an 88-year-old Vermont man was awakened and forced to sit and watch as a man and woman robbed him.
Norman Dion of Irasburg reported the home invasion and robbery to police early Thursday. He said he was ordered to sit in a chair while the couple finished rummaging through his house and stole his belongings, including prescription drugs and money.
Dion was not hurt.
The Vermont State Bureau of Criminal Investigations is investigating.
