BURLINGTON, Vt. -
JetBlue says it will end its flight
from Burlington to Orlando, Fla., despite pleas from local officials to keep
the route running.
JetBlue announced last month it will
cut the daily nonstop connection, saying the numbers were not consistent.
Local officials met with JetBlue
managers Thursday to try to convince the airline to maintain the flight, but
the airline refused.
Those nonstop flights will end just
after Thanksgiving weekend. Travelers can still fly JetBlue from Burlington to
Orlando with a connection in New York.
