
GRANTHAM, N.H. (AP) - New Hampshire State Police say a police cruiser and another car were involved in a serious crash on Interstate 89 in Grantham.
State police said the trooper was out of his car and checking on an abandoned vehicle Friday morning when his cruiser was struck from behind by another car.
The trooper wasn't hurt. A police dog in the car was doing fine.
There was no update on the condition of the other driver.
WMUR-TV reports traffic was backed up for 2 1/2 miles. The road was reopened by 11 a.m.
