Englesby House repairs surpass budget

BURLINGTON, Vt. -

Repairs to University of Vermont's presidential home are costing hundreds of thousands of dollars more than originally expected.

UVM trustees originally approved $875,000 for repairs at Englsby House. It has since come to light that mechanical and demolition costs will contribute to an additional $360,000 in work. Donations will pay for more than $700,000 worth of the work. The rest will come from the University's Operations fund.
