Vermont officials could learn this week how much federal funding they will get to help rebuild the state office complex in Waterbury.
Most of the complex was abandoned after the flooding from Tropical Storm Irene. The state has a plan to rehab some buildings, demolish others and build new office space.
The state has been counting on the Federal Emergency Management Agency to pay for 90-percent of project. But FEMA has indicated it's contribution may be millions less.
If full funding does not come through, Governor Shumlin has said the state will not be able to go forward with the rebuild as currently planned.
