Bark For Life

BURLINGTON, Vt. -

Cancer is a difficult disease but some are finding support and strength to fight cancer with the help of their pets. So to honor animals the American Cancer Society started the Bark for Life fundraiser three years ago. It was the idea of cancer survivors who wanted a way to recognize the role pets can play as caregivers.

Robin Shover is with Bark For Life. Whitney Troy-Vowell is from All Breed Rescue, and she brought Eddie the dog along to speak with Mike McCune.
