The Moriah Center Bridge is closed.
A 5-ton weight limit on the bridge on Plank Road had been in place for the past few weeks after it was deemed structurally unsafe. Emergency repairs got underway Monday so fire trucks and school busses can use the bridge again. The work is expected to take a week. About 5-thousand cars use the bridge every day. It's the main connector from the Northway to Routes 9-N and 22. The detour is ten miles.
