COLCHESTER, Vt. -
Two men are in custody after police raided the home of a suspected drug dealer in Colchester.
Police say Raymond Bureau sold hundreds of prescription pills a week out of his apartment across the street from St. Michael's College. Devin Austin, of New York City, also faces charges.
Following up on leads regarding unusually high foot traffic in and out of the residence, Colchester police say they orchestrated multiple undercover buys.
Det. Sgt. Charles Cole says they believe the supply of oxycodone came from out of state.
"The information we had was that people from the New York City area came up and were sleeping here at the apartment with the occupant that rents the place and were the source of supply for the pills," Cole said.
The two men are expected to be arraigned Thursday.
