The $16 million project to remake Barre's downtown has snarled traffic in the granite city all summer.
With work on the northern half of Main Street complete, contractors were busy Thursday installing granite posts.
From Depot Square to the intersection of Route 302, Main Street remains closed as workers install new sewer lines.
