Laptop argument leads to gunshot, arrest

WESTMINSTER, Vt. -

A family argument over a laptop computer led to a gunshot and arrest Thursday.

Police say Emery Ross, 26, and a family member got into an argument over possession of the computer in their Westminster home.

They say at one point, Ross pointed a gun at a family member. While someone was trying to disarm him, the gun went off, but no one was hurt.

He facing aggravated assault charges, among others.
