PORT HENRY, N.Y. -
The historic Miss Port Henry Diner is reopening.
The new owners are working to restore the eatery to it's 1933 glory, right down the to the original green exterior and marble counter top.
The restaurant shut down 2 years ago, but was recently purchased by Donald Foote of Wadhams, who also plans to do most of the cooking.
This is the second reopening of the restaurant since 1997 when it saw the last renovation.
They had hoped to be back open by Tuesday, but now say it will be sometime later in the week.
