WEST LEBANON, N.H. -
New Hampshire Congressman Charlie Bass campaigned in West Lebanon Monday.
The Republican attended a good old fashioned pizza party at Lui Lui's restaurant. He had lunch with supporters and candidates running for local offices. Bass is seeking re-election in New Hampshire's 2nd district, but at the lunch he focused his attacks on the President.
"Four years ago a new term of art came into being -- 'The new normal.' And the 'new normal' I guess is we accept 8.2 percent unemployment. We accept the fact that we are going to have trillion dollar deficits. We accept this kind of new normal. I say no," Bass said.
Bass's opponent in November is Democrat Annie McLane Kuster. The race is a rematch of the 2010 election.
