2 arrested in Swanton armed robbery

SWANTON, Vt. -

Two people were quickly arrested after an armed robbery in Swanton late Monday night.

Police were called to Champlain Farms on First Street for a holdup that happened just before midnight. Police say a woman entered the store, displayed a gun, and stole cash and cigarettes. Using surveillance video, police quickly identified a suspect and arrested Amanda Sanborn at a home in Swanton.

Police later learned Sanborn was accompanied by Tyler Ladd. He was arrested and charged as an accessory.
