
Steve Bottari anchors the Channel 3 Morning News weekdays from 5-7 a.m.
He joined the WCAX news team in August 2012.
Before WCAX, Steve reported from the presidential campaign trail for WBIN-TV, covering New Hampshire's "first in the nation" primary.
His previous credentials also include ABC News' Nightline and USA TODAY. For a season, Steve was the host for an AHL hockey team, the Bridgeport Sound Tigers, top affiliate of the New York Islanders.
Steve earned his master's in Journalism from Syracuse University's S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications. He was the valedictorian at Fairfield University, where he graduated summa cum laude with a bachelor's in Communication and Politics. He also studied at Universidad Centroamericana in Managua, Nicaragua.
A native New Englander, Steve grew up in Chelmsford, Mass., and attended Bishop Guertin High School in Nashua, N.H. He is an Eagle Scout.
Outside of the newsroom, Steve loves discovering new bands, trying to make some gains at the gym and exploring all that makes Vermont unique.
