LAKE PLACID, N.Y. -
An autopsy has confirmed the death of
a Lake Placid man was an accident.
Seth Kilburn's body was found last
week on a path behind a home on McKinley Street in Lake Placid. It's less than
one-quarter of a mile from the bar he had left and just a few hundred feet from
where he lived.
Autopsy results show Kilburn, 34, died
from asphyxiation. Police believe Kilburn fell several feet down an embankment
and struck his head and was knocked unconscious. They believe the position of
his head left him unable to breath, causing his death.
