BURLINGTON, Vt. -

Burlington police are looking for two men who they say hit a man over the head, sending him to the hospital.

The attack happened Thursday at the intersection of Grant and Clark streets in Burlington. Police say the 30-year-old victim was taken to the hospital and later released.

Police describe the suspects as two white males. One is about 5'10" with a military-style haircut, goatee, and tattoo sleeves on both arms, wearing a black tank top and shorts.

The other has the letters "WP" tattooed on his right arm and was wearing a red T-shirt with "South Pole" written on the front.

Anyone with information is asked to call Burlington Police Cpl. Steven Dumas at 802-540-2178.
