Kayakers rescued from Lake Champlain

BURLINGTON, Vt. -

Two kayakers are back on dry land after they had to be pulled from Lake Champlain.

The Coast Guard received a report early Thursday afternoon that a kayak had capsized near North Beach, and one person was in the water.

A second kayaker was on scene but unable to pull that person from the water.

Both were brought safely to shore.
