
HARTFORD, Vt. (AP) - Police in Hartford, Vt., say a 20-year-old man was killed after getting out of a car he was rising in and then jumping in front of traffic.
Police say Joshua Rice of Hartford, Vt., died after being struck by a vehicle Friday night on Route 4 in Quechee.
Police say Rice had gotten out of a vehicle driven by 26-year-old Eric Canales of Hartford, Vt., after having an argument. Rice then began jumping in front of traffic and was struck by an oncoming vehicle. He was pronounced dead at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center.
An investigation is continuing.
