BURLINGTON, Vt. -

A natural disaster, like flooding, can strike suddenly and without much warning. Even despite severe weather warnings, Irene caught many people unprepared.

Mick McCune spoke with Ross Nagy, Deputy Director for Preparedness and Planning for Vt. Emergency Management, about some tips on getting ready for the next sudden emergency in your area.
