Truck carrying cows goes off St. Albans road

ST. ALBANS, Vt. -

A rough ride for a truckload of cows in Franklin County Wednesday.

A tractor-trailer carrying 42 cows to Paboco Farms in St. Albans turned too sharply on the corner from County Road onto Lower Newton and the trailer ended up in the ditch.

Despite being jostled about, none of the cows were injured.

They were all off-loaded to another truck to complete the short trip to the farm and the tractor trailer was pulled back on to the road.
