Commuter Alert in Ausable Forks

AUSABLE FORKS, N.Y. -

A commuter alert in Ausable Forks. Drivers who use the Rolling Mill Bridge should expect delays of up to 45 minutes Thursday.

A recent inspection found the abutments need immediate repair, likely due to Tropical Storm Irene. Town officials say the work Thursday will mean they can avoid posting a weight limit on the bridge until a new permanent structure is put up.
