The attorney for the wind project protesters calling themselves "The Lowell Six" is asking a judge to overturn the group's guilty verdict.
Their lawyer filed a motion in Orleans Superior Court Tuesday, saying they should not have been found guilty of trespassing.
The Caledonian Record reports the defense's motion contains a slew of claims, including that the land's ownership by Green Mountain Power hasn't been fully proven.
The six protesters were found guilty by a jury earlier in the month after blocking a crane from getting to the wind farm job site in Lowell.
