Burlington city councilor resigns

BURLINGTON, Vt. -

A Burlington city councilor is resigning.

Ed Adrian, a Democrat from Ward 1, has served on the City Council since 2007. Adrian says he will step down Sept. 30 citing a number of reasons, including his career and family. A replacement will be elected on Election Day to serve the remaining year and a half left on his term.
