Vermont storyteller Mac Parker pleaded guilty to wire fraud and tax evasion charges with his unfinished film "The Birth of Innocence." The project took in $28 million from investors who are now suing.
His partner, Louis Soteriou, is facing fraud and money laundering charges.
The Burlington Free Press reports Soteriou says he had no hand in the project's finances. He told federal investigators his role was strictly creative input but now his lawyers want those interviews thrown out.
