TAMPA, Fla. -
A couple from Randolph took the stage
at the Republican National Convention Thursday night.
Ted and Pat Oparowski were just two of
several people to tell personal stories about the candidate. Romney was an
official in their Mormon church in Massachusetts in the 1970s. And Romney
ministered to them and their 14-year-old son who was dying of cancer.
"He wanted to be
buried in his Boy Scout uniform. He wanted Mitt to pronounce his eulogy. And
Mitt was there to honor that request. We will be ever grateful to Mitt for his
love and concern," Pat Oparowski said to applause.
The couple says Romney
visited the boy several times in the hospital and they developed a loving
friendship.
