Getting school supplies to Vt. kids in need

ESSEX JUNCTION, Vt. -

Many kids headed back to school this week and part of the excitement includes getting new gear. But not everyone can afford all the supplies students need these days to go to school. A local effort aims to help. Mary Alice McKenzie, the executive director of the Boys and Girls Club, appeared on The :30 to tell us more about it. Watch the video for more.

    Vermont State Police have charged 22-year-old Adam Page of Newport for stealing the Newport City Elementary School bus, which has now been declared totaled. A stolen dog was also recovered in the bus
