Season pass sales for ski mountains are up 10 to 20 percent over last year already. Resort operators say there's a pent-up demand for skiing and snowboarding after last year's snow drought.
Ski season is important to the industry, but winter revenues are no longer make-it-or-break-it, with resorts beefing up summer attractions like zip lines and water parks.
