MONTPELIER, Vt. (AP) - Hunters have until Wednesday to apply for Vermont's muzzleloader season for antlerless deer.
The permits are for Dec. 1-9.
Officials are urging hunters to apply online.
The applications are available on the Vermont Fish and Wildlife Department's website at www.vtfishandwildlife.com
Paper applications are available from license agents.
The Fish and Wildlife Board has approved 12,425 antlerless deer permits during the December muzzleloader season.
Biologists expect hunters to take about 2,246 antlerless deer during that season.
