Who shot a loon in New Hampshire?

Investigators in New Hampshire want to know -- who shot a loon.

The bird was found on Back Lake in Pittsburg in late August -- clearly hurt. X-rays showed dozens of shotgun pelletts - and the bird ended up having to be euthanized. Loons are protected birds.

Fish and Game says the culprit will face a fine up to $250,000.
