
CONCORD, N.H. (AP) - New Hampshire's game bird hunting season is opening with a five-bag limit on resident Canada geese.
The season on Canada geese runs from Sept. 4 through Sept. 25.
The season for snipe runs from Sept. 15 through Nov. 14, with an eight-bird limit per day.
Woodcock hunting season runs from Oct. 1-Nov. 14, with a three-bag limit.
Sea duck season begins Oct. 1 and runs until Jan. 15, with a seven-bird limit per day.
Open season on crows is already under way and runs through Nov. 30.
All hunters must have a current New Hampshire hunting license, and waterfowl hunters must also obtain a federal duck stamp and a New Hampshire migratory waterfowl hunting license
