Vermonters in NC for Democratic convention

CHARLOTTE, N.C. -

The Democratic convention is getting under way in North Carolina, with a contingent of 29 Vermonters on hand to officially nominate President Barack Obama for re-election.

First lady Michelle Obama is the headliner for the first night. She says she wants to use her speech Tuesday night to remind Americans of the values that drive her husband to do what he's done, "and what he is going to do for the next four years."
