WOLCOTT, Vt. -
A 17-year-old boy was injured when he was hit by a car at an underage drinking party over the weekend.
Deputies from the Lamoille County sheriff's department responded to a noise complaint in the woods at the end of Brook View Lane in Wolcott early Sunday morning. When they got there they learned of the accident in which a 17-year-old driver had run over another teen on a logging road. The teen was taken to the hospital, but his name and condition have been not released.
Nine underage drinkers were cited at the party and Kyle Kizer, 22, was charged with furnishing alcohol to minors.
