Rutland man accused of sex assault on child

RUTLAND, Vt. -

A Rutland man already in jail facing child pornography charges is now accused of sexually assaulting a child.

Police says Gerald Lamb, 34, assaulted a 6-year-old child who stayed overnight at his house in August of last year.

The allegations came to light following Lamb's arrest earlier this year by federal agents for possession of child porn.
