IRASBURG, Vt. (AP) - Vermont State Police say it appears that speed and heavy fog contributed to a crash that killed a motorcyclist in Irasburg.
Police say 34-year-old Scott Bowen of Lowell was driving his motorcycle east on Route 58 around 6 a.m. on Friday when a pickup truck pulled out in front of him. The driver of the pickup didn't see the motorcycle in the heavy fog.
Bowen lost control of the bike and collided with the truck. He was pronounced dead by emergency medical personnel.
