PLATTSBURGH, N.Y. -
There's a new poll out for the northern New York congressional district and incumbent Democrat Bill Owens is holding a double digit lead.
In the Siena College survey released Monday, Owens gets support from 49-percent of North Country voters, compared to 36-percent for Republican Matt Doheny. Doheny is questioning the results, noting that the survey was conducted last week, when Democrats were getting favorable media coverage because of their national convention.
