Commuter alert on I-93

WATERFORD, Vt. -

A commuter alert in the Northeast Kingdom.

The Vermont Agency of Transportation will be closing a bridge on Interstate 93 in Waterford to improve the structure. It's located at the on ramp from I-93 north to I-91 south at Exit 19.

Traffic will be detoured north on I-91 to Exit 20, then south on Route 5. The entire detour is less than 2 miles long.

The project is expected to take a month.
