Archaeologists made some amazing finds at the site of the new Champlain Bridge.
They worked at the Chimney Point historic site in West Addison during construction, and uncovered evidence of human occupation at the site, dating as far back as 9,000 years.
The team says the items illustrate the Champlain Valley's importance to both Native American and European history.
One of the archaeologists will give a talk on the findings this Sunday afternoon at the Ethan Allen Homestead Museum.
