Gun scare at St. Albans school

ST. ALBANS, Vt. -

A brief scare at Bellows Free Academy in St. Albans Monday, when it appeared a 14-year-old girl had a gun.

The girl was talking with administrators and the school resource officer when she pulled out the gun. The officer quickly determined that it was an airsoft toy gun designed to look like the real thing.

Police are treating the incident as a juvenile matter.
