PLATTSBURGH, N.Y. -
It's primary day in New York for statewide offices. The big race in our region is for the 115th Assembly seat.
Three Republicans for going for the seat. Current Assemblywoman Janet Duprey is seeking a fourth term. Cadyville businessman David Kimmel is in the race again. He lost to Duprey two years ago. Also in the race is longtime Plattsburgh school teacher Karen Bisso.
The polls are open 12 p.m.- 9 p.m.
Even if she wins, Duprey will face another three-way race in November against Democrat Tim Carpenter and Bisso again, who is also the Conservative Party nominee.
