Clyde HallALBANY, N.Y. (AP) - The U.S. Marshals have added a convicted child predator to the agency's list of its 15 most wanted fugitives after he failed to report to a halfway house in New York following his release from prison earlier this year.
The Marshals say 47-year-old Clyde Hall Jr. is registered in New York as a Level 3 sex offender, the state's most dangerous sex offender classification. Authorities say he failed to report to a halfway house in March after serving a 2-year sentence at a federal prison in North Carolina.
Officials say Hall has a violent criminal history dating back to the 1980s. He served sentences in Maine and New York for sexual offense convictions involving young girls. The New York conviction was for sexually abusing a 10-year-old in Essex County in the Adirondacks.
