An update from Vermonters helping in Haiti

Posted: Updated:
BURLINGTON, Vt. -

Haiti continues to recover after the earthquake back in January 2010. A Vermont group was on the ground helping years before the quake and they are still there providing aid. The Vermont Haiti Project started in 2007, and because they were already in Haiti, they were able to quickly connect aid to people in need.

Tim Singer is the co-founder of the Vermont Haiti Project and Fenel Jean is a village leader in Haiti. They both appeared on The :30 to give us an update. Watch the video for more.

A benefit for the Vermont Haiti Project is this Sat., Sept. 15 at 7 p.m. at the North End Studio in Burlington. Click here for more information.
