Copper thieves caught

DANVILLE, Vt. -

One of the men-- is charged with several burglaries at the Joe's Pond Country Store in Danville. However, the bulk of the crimes were for copper wire and tools in St Johnsbury, Waterford, and Kirby.

Police say several local welding shops were hit for thousands of dollars worth of welding cable. Police have arrested 25-year-old Steven Cross of Woodsville New Hampshire, 47-year-old Richard Larrabee of Walden Vermont, and 21-year-old Jenna Pilette of Lyndonville. Police say the three were also involved in burglarizing the Moore Dam in New Hampshire.
