Police in Brattleboro are investigating a suspicious death.

According to police-- the body a 47-year-old woman was discovered Friday on Western Avenue in Brattleboro. The circumstances around her death are under investigation. Police are calling it suspicious. However-- they say there is no public threat surrounding the death. The woman's name has not been released.
