Police look for stolen dog in Springfield

SPRINGFIELD, Vt. -

Police in Springfield need your help finding a stolen dog.

Gibbs is a 5 year old lab-hound cross about 85 pounds. He was last seen on Friday when a woman came to the Springfield Humane Society take him on a walk. People in the parking lot say they saw her stuff the dog in her small, light green car with Vermont plates and drive away.

The humane society says Gibbs has a red collar with tags, and are urging anyone with any information to call the shelter.
