BURLINGTON, Vt. -
Monday marked the one year anniversary of the Occupy Wall Street movement, but there is no indication of any major protests in Vermont.
Even in New York City, the birthplace of the movement, there was only a small protest march with a couple of hundred people. About a dozen protesters were arrested this morning after sitting down on the sidewalk.
Last year the occupation of Zuccotti Park in New York spawned a nationwide movement that included other occupations, including a two-week take over of Burlington's City Hall Park. The city abruptly shut down the tent city after a man committed suicide.
