SPRINGFIELD, Vt. -
A stolen dog in Springfield has been found safe.
Gibbs, a 5-year-old lab-hound mix, was stolen from the Springfield Humane Society Friday by a woman who claimed she wanted to take the dog for a walk.
Monday morning the dog was spotted 6 miles away in Charlestown, N.H. Police noticed his humane society tags and brought him back to Springfield.
The woman who allegedly stole the dog has been identified.
No word if charges have been filed.
