Vt. kayaker dies in NH

LINCOLN, N.H. -

A Vermont man died while kayaking in New Hampshire.

It happened in the West Pemigewasset River in Lincoln. Police say the man was kayaking with two friends when he tipped over. The man was trapped underwater for more than an hour. Officials say recent rains made for dangerous conditions.

Police say the victim is from the Montpelier area, but they have not yet released his name.
