Two Vt. colleges recognized as gay-friendly

BENNINGTON, Vt. -

Two Vermont colleges have been recognized by a national group as gay-friendly.

A national survey conducted by the college resource website unigo.com ranks Bennington College as the most LGBT friendly college in the nation.

The school topped the list titled Best LGBT Scenes, which is described as schools that have "pride not prejudice."

The University of Vermont is also on the list. It comes in at number eight.
