Burlington plans waterfront, rail yard project

BURLINGTON, Vt. (AP) - The head of the Vermont transportation agency will join Burlington's mayor in announcing a new waterfront and rail yard access project in the city.

Transportation Secretary Brian Searles and Mayor Miro Weinberger are holding a news conference Thursday afternoon to discuss the project, which involves connecting Pine and Battery Streets.
